I hit the softball
it went past the base in field
I ran to each base
I caught the softball
my hand felt sweaty in my glove
I ran between base

My Holidays
I woke up in the morning feeling happy because I knew for the next two weeks I will be on holiday from school.
I wanted to have fun by going to see my friends.
First I went to the movies with my mum. We watched Despicable me 2.
The fun part of my holidays was going to the movies. Next holidays, I will go to Rainbows End.
Museum Trip
At the museum it was so interesting looking at the World War 1 display.I was with Miss Atuahiva and we walked around to see the different displays. The thing I mostly enjoyed was the weird and wonderful exhibition. The cockroaches from the U.S.A were creepy and big. They made my skin get covered with goosebumps. DISGUSTING! I had a lot of fun at the museum. I can't wait until we go again!

Fisheries In NZ we have fishing rules so that people only take what they need. Supermarkets rely on commercial fishing to supply their stores.Recreational fishers can only take what they catch depending if the fish is the legal size. The minimum size fish we are allowed to catch is from 25cm to 40 cm of different types of fish.People must check what the rules area for the area they want to fish in. People who break these rules are called poachers.Poachers who steal fish threaten the fishing industry. When poachers take more fish than they need there will not be enough fish to go around, this is why we have fishing rules in NZ..

On Monday 26th of May rooms 9 and 10 went on a trip to Long Bay Regional Park, to learn about living creatures in rock pools. We assembled under the shelter, and went with our guide for the day.
Each group was given a white tray to collect whatever we found in the rockpools. Salelei found a cushion starfish and crabs. I found a spiral starfish, it was cool. The wind blew sand into my face, as I walked back to the shelter. A dead jellyfish lay dead on the sand. It was white and rubbery. It was a awesome day, and I was tired.
